I hope you can help me with getting some old slides transfered onto a CD. I have seen lots of adverts on the web offering various serivces, but am now more confused than ever as to who to go to!

I want them to be put onto CD in a format and size that will be big enough to print off good quality A5 size pictures, as a minimum.

Do any of you members know anyone that can do this and will do a good job as they are all old family pictures, which haven't seen daylight for a good 30 years!

Can you also give an indication of what it will cost as I've seen prices ranging from 20p to £1 per slide.

Thanks,

Gordon Thompson

Whilst away on a trip recently, I got some dirt onto the camera sensor that couldn't easily be removed (long story - now fixed hopefully).
However, I ended up taking several hundred photos that now have the same mark on them. Is it possible to create a 'mask' in photoshop that effectively mirrors the mark so that I can overlay the photos and create 'clean' images?

Hi David
I have also had the problem of a common dust mark on a selection of images and I elected for accuracy, to clone out the mark on each image, due to the differing backgrounds and cloning points.
However I believe what you are looking for can be done in adobe lightroom
